The Asian Volleyball Championship is a sport competition for national teams, currently held biannually and organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation, the Asian volleyball federation. The first edition for both men and women was held in 1975.

The 1975 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship was the 1st Asian Championship, which took place from 12 to 20 August 1975 in Melbourne, Australia.
