Tehran, Iran, August 3, 2015 – Bahrain overcame Turkmenistan in thrilling straight sets 29-27, 25-17, 25-22 to next take on India.
Turkmenistan’s coach Serdar Tachnazarov: “Our goal is a successful appearance in the next championship.
We prepared our young players in this tournament for a better outcome in the next edition. In this match, we started the first set very well but surrendered to
the referees’ wrong decisions. Four of our players are injured. We have a young team.”
Turkmenistan’s captain Gurbanmuhammet Gylychdurdyyev: “We expected to play better today but we were so tired because of the tough match the previous day. We will try to go for victory in the upcoming matches.”
Bahrain’s coach Gorge Elgueta: “My players made ridiculous mistakes in this match. We did not play well good and I am not happy with that. My team is supposed to be better than this. I hope to see a better situation in the next matches aside from getting good results and playing more beautifully.”
Bahrain’s captain Jasim Alnabhan: “It was one of our toughest matches in this tournament. Our game against Japan was much easier than this match against Turkmenistan. We didn’t have any information about them, but thanks God that we won the game.”
